Is anybody on this board descended from Michael J. Ferry, who married Mary Bridget Nolan on August 28, 1881 in Morris, Grundy County, IL? They had 8 children: Bridget Ellen Ferry, b. 1886; Elisa Ferry, b. 1887; Michael J. Ferry, Jr., b. Oct 29, 1889 and d. June 20, 1890; Mary Ferry, b. 1891; Maurice R. (Morris) Ferry, b. 1893 and d. August 9, 1948 in Chicago; John Patrick Ferry, b. 1895; Francis Joseph Ferry, b. 1897, and; Margaret Catherine Ferry, b. June 16, 1902, married Edward Quinn in 1925, d. December 1985 - he died June 1980, both in Marseilles, IL. Mary Bridget Nolan was born in England (enroute from Ireland, I believe). Mary Bridget was the daughter of Patrick Nolan and Bridget Gleason, both of whom were born in Ireland (Patrick in Birdhill, County Tipperary, Ireland; Bridget unknown other than Ireland). Their only other child was Catherine (Katie) Nolan who married Frank J. McDermott in 1887 and one child, Frank. Looking for descendants of this family. Patrick & Bridget were my great-uncle and great-aunt.
