Just a reminder, that in the census when it says Ligonier that means the township (not necessarily the community of Ligonier), then the county (ie: Westmoreland) and then the state.
Also, I don't think it applies during the dates we've talked about and listed, but Westmoreland County boundaries have changed over the years! There is an excellent reference book in the PA. Room of the Ligonier Valley Library that shows maps of the changes when and where.
And.... my John Wesley (1863-1930), son of Henry Ferry (Furry) had as survivors in 1930 his wife Laura B (Ferguson), 3 brothers, George, Ed and Frank and 2 sisters, Etta and Emma and 3 sons, Clarence, Robert and Abraham.(There is no mention of a brother William H. who may have died in 1911)
Sorry to add to the confusion...
Diane
