Yes, this seems to be the same family, BUT (my) Martha would have been 52 and Abraham 54. I have never had a John of that age (23) group in that list, in personal family accounts nor in later obituaries of the family found in the Ligonier library issues of the newspaper ECHO. I don't have the 1850 census...soooo.... but that doesn't mean there isn't a relationship.

My interest also is Henry's line, but through his son John Wesley (1863-1939).

According to the ECHO, when Henry died July 27, 1912, he was survived by his 2nd wife Louise Smith (d. 1929) 4 sons, George, (my) John W., (your) Frank and Edward (possibly Edgar), 2 daughters Emma and Etta, sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Stairs, Margaret and Matilda (both maidens), 24 GC and some GGC and was the oldest citizen of Ligonier at the time. There is no mention of his brother Abraham or of a brother John. [There are other death notices of Abraham and a John of that age group (if he's a brother) after 1912 so they should have been listed.]

In my notes, tho' not documented, I also have that when Louise (Smith) Ferry died in 1929, she was survived by Etta Gardner Mossholder Johnston, Frank of Virginia, Emma Cole of Derry and Ed of Derry (her stepchildren?) If Frank moved to Virginia...good luck, it's a big state!!!

Hope this helps some.
