John Jay Ferris (1787-1857) died in Linwood OH. He had a daughter, Susan E. Ferris b. 1814 Linwood OH d. there 1884. She m. John L. Bassett and born to them were:
Preston
Mary J. b. 1839
Charles F. b 1844

No info on her remarrying.
