Just read your message on Jacob Ferris. He was my gggrandfather. His daughter was my ggrandmother Maude Lillie.She married Howard L.Roop. I don't know a lot about where they were born.They are buried in the Roop-Ferris cemetery. It is in Partick County, Va. That is about 60 miles from Danville. I was raised in Partick Co. I now live about 10 miles out of Danville. I can try to find out more from my relatives. He died 8/21/1946. I noticed you had 12 children listed. The last child was Minnie b.5/22/1879-5/19/1973.
