Married abt 1820 RHOBE HARRIS b 1788 Stephentown, d unk Pike Co., Illinois, daughter of Dr NICHOLAS HARRIS 1749-1819 and PHEBE TIBBITS 1748-1837 both of Rhode Island. MORRIS L. FERRIS and RHOBE HARRIS had son LONDREE NICHOLAS FERRIS B 1821 Stephentown, NY, died 1897 Barry, Pike Co, Illinois, and an unknown daughter and possibly others. LONDREE NICHOLAS FERRIS m. 1846 in Pike County, Illinois, MARY PIPER 1822-1891, daughter of JOHN PIPER 1784-1854 and PHEBE ADAMS d 1842, Illinois. PIPERS were from New Hampshire. Only child of LONDREE FERRIS and MARY PIPER is WILLIAM HARVEY FERRIS b 1851 Pike County, Illinois, died unk Portland, Multnomah Co, Oregon. Married NANCY VIRGINIA HUDSON 1852-1945 of Worcester Co, Maryland, daughter of WILLIAM SHOWELL HUDSON 1815-1894 and JULIA ANN POWELL 1818-1909.
Have located a MORRIS FERRIS son of REED FERRIS and ANNA TRIPP about that location and time but am unable to find further info.
