John W. Ferris, My gggrandfather was born in 1835 at I believe
Greenwich, CT. The 1850 Fairfield CT census shows that John lived
with Charles Wakeman and his family in Fairfield CT. John married
Lavinia Banks and had at least five children. Their children --
George Banks Ferris b.1864- m. Gertrude Mills
Emma Ferris b.1861
Charles S. Ferris b.1865 d.1923 m. Effie Scribner
William B. Ferris b.1868 m.Luella
Eva Louisa Ferris b.1869
My ggrandfather being George Banks Ferris--

George and Gertrude had at least 12 children, most of
which stayed in the general area in CT.
