1. JOHN FERRIS was born Abt. 1787 in New York, and died 27 April 1869 in Ohio. He married (1) SARAH ZERBEY Abt. 1808. She was born Abt. 1787 in Pennsylvania, and died 15 February 1852 in death date from Jean Talboys Sept 1998. He married (2) MARY ANNE DEPUY PUY 19 August 1852 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. She was born 1825.

       iii.       JOSEPH FERRIS, b. January 1812, Ontario County, New York; d. 30 March 1861, Andersonville Prison (Died in Civil War); m. DANA BARTON WHITCOMB, 21 February 1835, Cuyahoga County, Ohio; b. 08 June 1816, Mt. Holly, Vermont; d. 01 March 1901, North Royalton, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
       iv.       POLLY FERRIS, b. Abt. 1816; d. 31 July 1851; m. C. JOHNSON.
       v.       ALFRED FERRIS, b. 12 June 1820, Ohio; d. 29 December 1891, Eaton County, Michigan; m. LENORA MERCY CLAFLIN, 14 May 1854; b. 30 May 1833, Royalton, Fairfield County, Ohio; d. 22 September 1914, Roxand Township, Eaton County, Michigan.
