At one point the website "Bombs and Bones" mentions the couple Hiram FERRIS and Eunice LOCKWOOD, but not their descendants. The 1850 federal census of Greenwich, CT looks to have this couple, ages 48 and 49, with possible children Hiram Jr., age 17 yrs, and Phebe A., age 11 yrs. Next door is Samuel and Phebe FERRIS, ages 77 yrs and 63 yrs, respectively, with a young man, William H. FERRIS, 13 yrs in their household. Does anyone know what happened to these children? Trying to make a possible connection to a PLATT family of Greenwich and Westchester Co., NY.
