FERRER as a Sephardic name
Posted by: Harry Stein Date: July 22, 2001 at 17:34:57

The name FERRER has been identified in the court records of Aragon and by the Holy Office of the Catholic Church of Spain as a Sephardic (Jewish) surname. If you wish to research this aspect of the FERRER family line of Spain, you are invited to visit Sephardim.com located at http://www.sephardim.com. It would appear that there are atleast two branches of the same family in Spain (one Jewish, one Catholic) or two separate families with the same name.
