Father Bryant Ferrell 1803-1860 m. Mary Chamblee 1798-1865
G-father James Ferrell c 1864-2 9 1850 m. Elizabeth Hodges
c. 1775-1861
GG-father unknown m. Sally Ferrell b. c1739-1825
Sally's parents John Ferrell bef 1718- 1793 Ann Fish 1720- aft 1799

Oct 8, 1754 NC State Records Vol. 22 John Ferrell was a sergeant in Capt Osborn Jeffrey's Company, Col. William Eaton's Regiment, Joseph Ferrell was a private in this Company and was possibly Sally's husband. I can't find any other record so this is only conjecture.
I have much more on this family, but only have 9 of John & mary Gays children.
