While "blindly" seeking information on the surname FERRELL in West Virginia, I obtained a copy of the following WV certificate of death:

born: //blank// in Boone Co., WVa.
died: 16 Feb 1948 Huntington State Hospital, Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia
residence: Seth, Boone County, West Virginia
age: 43 years
cause of death: Staters? (sp?) epilepticus? (sp?) due to Epilepsy
