we have traced Feerrars to Aaronburg late 1820's to late 1830's, Salona 1840 to 1860 and then the family splits between Boalsburg and Nippenose Valley. We traced our dna to a branch of the Myers family that can trace back to a Madame Ferree. I have reviewed their entire tree and it appears that either they have a mistake in their tree or the Ferree connection is the only one possible. As far as the Feerrar's go..family legend says we came from Alsace and where German speakers in French territory. We have some connection through employment with William of Orange..legend has it I have an ancestor who was his blacksmith/swordsmith....so no, not Italian....
