Information I have lists John's father as Nicolaus, born and died in Germany. John b. March 17, 1773, evidence shows in PA. Raised to manhood in Berks Co., married Elizabeth Gibboney.He took up land(abt. 1800) in South Middleton Twp.., Cumberland Co.near "The Peak". Died Jan. 25, 1854. Listed in 1850 Census for South Middleton Twp. as "age 75, b. in PA." Also listed in Census, dau. Leah and "Ann" (2nd wife?). Buried in Chestnut Grove cemetery, Latimore, Adams Co. Trying to determine which Eliz. Gibboney he married. Ken
