Yes he is the one on that ship. He was a very good friend of Marie.I haven't been able to trace him back before the ship. Another family researcher went to France and Germany and couldn't find anything.
Do you think you descend through this Daniel? Do you want a little history of his family? He was married twice as his first wife died in england and then we find him married to Catherine Elizabeth Obermuller. If my memory serves me right she is on the second ship as a single persom.
