Looking for anyone who might have the following names in their family line.

My grandfather - Giovanni Giuseppe DiMuro - born March 1886 in Muro Lucano Italy - his parents Francisco DiMuro and Felizia Ferrara. Giovanni came thru Ellis Island October 1906 and resided with family (I believe the Ferrara's) around 117th St. in NYC.

My grandmother - Maria Antoinette Ferrara - born May 1896 - her parents are Antonio Ferrara and Rosa Farulla. She came thru Ellis approximately 1913-1914.

Giovanni & Maria married at Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmell, on 116th in NYC. They were cousins. This was the practice in the "old" country to arrange the marriages between the families.

I'm not sure which town my grandmother came from yet - but I am definite about my grandfather coming from Muro Lucano and he had two brothers (Salvador & Antonio) and one sister - Maria - who went to Argentina. His sister Maria married and became a di Curri in Argentina.

I am in touch with a cousin Ricardo who does live in Argentina and he's my grandfathers brothers' grandson. I have a lot of other names in the family but too many to go into on this posting. Postings can be checked at Ancestry.com also and I give more background info on names in my line of DiMuro and Ferrara's.

I did find another cousin thru one of my various postings and we are always in touch.

So if anyone thinks that we might have a connection please feel free to get in touch with me and we can compare notes. Thanks and good luck to all.
