Well. I may be able to help a little.I understand that Collett (or a relative) and the noted English cleric Nicholas Ferrar (probably a relative of Suzanne) founded a quasi-monastic retreat at Little Gidding in the 1620s that was subsequently broken up by the Cromwellian army.Try some on-line research on Nicholas Ferrar for this background. It looks like you are snooping in the same area as am I.I am descended from a Mary Ferrar, born in England around 1648, who married John Houghton Jr. in 1671 in Dedham, Mass.I suspect that Mary may have been a next generation descendand of John Ferrar, brother to Nicholas Ferrar, and leader of the Little Gidding community after Nicholas died in the 1630s.My guess would be that Suzanne is a sister, daughter, or neice of John Ferrar, and thus a cousin or aunt of Mary Ferrar.Unfortunately I have only guesswork here.
