My greatgrandfather was Chiles E. Ferney,1822-1872; Gr, great-grandfather was Milton Ferney, 1786-1852. Any connection?
I have been devoting most of my time to searching for Josiah Craig, died about 1823, therefore, I have not done much work with the Ferney line. These Ferneys went from Orange, Co., Va., to St. Charles, Missouri.
