Bernardo Fernandez in Jalisco mid 1800's

Does anyone know about any Spanish Fernandez's who moved to Jalisco, Mexico in the Mid 1800's. My grandfather's grandfather went by the name of Bernardo Fernandez who was born in spain and married Atanacia Fernandez in Jalisco Mexico.

My grandfather supposedly knew what part of spain Bernardo came from but unfortunately he passed away this year.

Any info or names of Fernandez's who moved to Jalisco from Spain in the 1800's would help.
