Anna Laurie married Alexander Fergusson in 1710. They had several children, Jean, born on May 29, 1711and married Robert Riddell and that is where Anna died. James was born on January 10, 1713 and had a son named Alexander by his first wife. A daughter named Elizabeth died young. Anna had two other sons that I know of, one Alexander and another William. You might try the web site of Latter Day Saints. I have followed the lineage of Alexander born about 1715 and his son was Matthew, who came to New Brunswick, Canada via Philadelphia. He came with his three sons - John Archemedes Ferguson, Benbow Ferguson and Thomas Ferguson. John married Sarah Crawford and had several children. My great grandfather married Sarah Ferguson. I think James might have also had a son John by his second wife. Sorry I was not able to help you ! Matthew was an architect and moved to Hammondvale, N.B where he is buried. I have the names and dates of the Ferguson family, but none born 1780. I would be pleased to pass on any information I have. Some of his children's children went back to the U.S.A.
