My Grandfather George William Fergusson was born Dec 16, 1864 in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland to James Fergusson and Margaret Lyall (they were married in Haddington 24 Dec 1858). There were 3 other children of this marriage I have found: John Fergusson (born 11 Oct 1862), Jane FERGUSON (Christening: 5 Feb 1859), and Elizabeth Jane FERGUSSON (born 26 Dec 1859). There is reportedly a 4th son Robert Fergusson who supposedly ended up in Chicago.
I'm looking to extend this family tree in both directions, and any help would be appreciated. I know my little piece of it: George William grew up in the Orkney Islands, spent 3 years in the Reuleben Concentration camp in Germany during WWI, and then emmigrated to New York City around 1920. He was an opera singer. He married Ethyl Ostrander (also an opera singer), had one son Eugene Stuart, who had me :)
John Fergusson supposedly went to sea. I don't know anything else about the other children.
