Andrew Fergusson from the Parish of Kirkmahoe married Alice Walker in Mochrum, Wigtownshire, Scotland in 1814. He was a millwright in Goldinach, between Glen Luce and New Luce, when their three sons, Alexander, William and Peter were born.
They departed from Liverpool in 1839 to sail to South Australia where they ended up farming around Riverton and Saddleworth.
Andrew was born around 1786. Can anyone please help me find out anything of his background?
