I too am trying to find the connection. There is a John Ferguson in our family, and we too are connected to Annie Laurie. I have the note of pedigree communicated by Captain R. Cutlar-Fergusson of Craigdarroch. Our Alexander Fergusson had a son Matthew who had a son John. Matthew Fergusson emigrated to Ireland before coming to Canada about 1818. I would like to know the children of Annie's children. I do know that her daughter married Robert Riddell and it was there that she died. Annie had two sons, James, and Robert, and two daughters, Jean and Elizabeth that I know of, but in my mother's notes, she had a son Alexander.What information do you have that would help?
