I am descended from Col. James through his son John (Lt. John), James Lawerence (Sgt. Parker's Ark), Walter Francis, Lawrence Sr., Lawrence Jr., Me!

According to my research, Col. James was buried on the battlefield after the battle of Huck's Defeat (William's Plantation). I have visited the location in York County, SC. also the locaton for some of the filming of the movie "The Patriot".

I have extensive records and would be glad to share.
