Rebecca Ferguson and John Perkins were the parents of George Washington, Nathaniel, Rebecca, Jesse and Jencks Perkins. George was b. in Rutland in 1820 and lived to age 97. The information his provided the census taker was that his father was b. RI and his mother in NY. Rebecca's birth year was between 1771-1780. John is found in Houndsfield in 1820 but there were Fergusons in Rutland that year. Does anyone have info on this Rutland clan?
