I have been trying to find a burial, cemetery, or death record for our William "Bill" J. M. FERGUSON
born April 1835 Anderson Co, SC, lived in 1870,1880 in Lawrence Co, AL, then in 1890-1900 in Cherokee and Rusk Co, TX, with children.
Are there any CSA or Sons of Conf Veterans listings for burials in East TX? I only found him last on the 1900 census living with daughter M. Emma Ferguson Gilbreath in Cherokee Co, TX. She divorced and I don't know if she changed her name by 1910. ??

William J. M. Ferguson b 1834, Pickens Dist, SC
He enlisted in the CSA Apr 14, 1861 in Pickensville, SC in 4th Inf. Co. I, H, Palmetto Sharpshooters. He reenlisted Dec 24, 1861 in Pickensville.
I have all his children and census from 1870, 1880 in Lawrence Co, Al and his wife Martha's death in 1889 in Rusk Co, TX where his son Silas Madison Ferguson migrated about 1884. Martha Perry Ferguson is buried in Walker Chapel Cem, Rusk Co, TX near the Cherokee Co. line.
