Thomas and Horatio Ferguson, VA and AL

Hello Doris. I was just directed to your post. My ancestor, Thomas Ferguson had a brother, Horatio. They were born in VA and later took out land grants next to each other in Madison Co., AL. I have hit a brick wall in following this line. That there is a Horatio (seemingly an uncommon Ferguson name) and a Thomas in your ancestor, Joice/Joyce's family in VA is very interesting. And the dates could easily match. Do you know anything more about that family's origins or their descendants? Looking forward to hearing from you!
