There were also families of Gibsons in the Mt. Joy area. This was the Penn's Marsh Creek settlement area, synonymous with the Manor of Maske, at the Susquehanna River. Gettysburg is a little north of the once center of this manor. I ran across this information hoping for a possible connection to my ancestor, Samuel Allison Gibson who married a Mary Stewart.
