I'm the 1624 to 1930 Dutch Ferdon/Perdon/Verdon family
historian (Fredrik Ferdon was my 5g-grandfather). I noticed your 2007 message board posting regarding the mid-1800's Ferdon families migration from Sullivan Co., NY to Wisconsin. These families are believed to have all been
descended from Peter Ferdon/Pardon Sr. and his wife Margaret Tobias (probably married at the Poughkeepsie, NY Christ Church ~1787).
My research indicated Peter Sr.'s grandson Peter T. moved from NY to WI in 1837, Peter Jr. moved to WI in 1845, his niece Rachel (Palmatier) moved there in 1849, her brothers Oliver, James, and Seth moved there in 1853, and her brother William moved there in 1862.
I would be glad to send you complimentary copies of the five most pertinent pages from my 2007 Ferdon book. Just send a S.A.S.E to- Jesse Pardon, 235 North 900 East, Brigham City, UT 84302.
