Nicola - I think your g-g-g-g-g-father was my husband's g-g-g-g-g-g-father, i.e. Peter Yetton born 1775 and married to Phyllis Afflett. I've come to a grinding halt in tracking the family back further than 1734, so if you do have anything earlier than that I'd be fascinated to know, and I'm happy to share what I have. All of us, including the Yetton-Wards, seem to be allied to two generations of Yettons who ran the Rising Sun pub in Bethnal Green in the 1800s.
