I know very little about my genealogy. My grandfather's name is Samuel Sheppard Ferdinand. He was from St. Louis. Had a sister named Maxine. Married Shirley Cohen. Supposedly, the surname comes from Spain and was adopted during the Spanish Inquisition. The Ferdinands then supposedly went to Ireland after being banished.
