The Briget Fenton I was looking for was born Aug 1866. The Waterford Heritage center found this record but it is not an exact match: Bridget Fenton born 18 March 1866 Father Michael dwelling Drumore Laborer Mother Fowler Mary informant Fenton Michael Reg date 20 March 1866 Register Whitechurch Bth Bk page 54 Union Dungarven District Whitechurch.
Although my records indicate her father was Michael Fenton her marriage certificate says Mary Higgins, the year of birth is correct but not the month which is listed on her death cert and census data.
Bridget immigrated to Manhattan NY 1888. She married James Joseph Powers in July 1890 Church of St Peter lower Manhattan. After his death she remarried Jeramiah Toomey and on that certificate she lists her mother a s Mary Higgins. Any thoughts? Any relatives? Thanks for your time & trouble.
