Charlotte, are you just looking for information on James "Harvey" Fenter and Dessie Lee Neighbors, their immediate family and descendants, or are you looking for information on their ancestry as well?
I have photo copies of some pages from a couple of the volumes of the periodical called "The Heritage". It is published by the Hot Spring County, Arkansas, Historical Society. There are some articles written by Avinelle Fenter Cinotto on James Barney Andrew Fenter (born 19 Nov. 1869 at Malvern, Arkansas), and his family. This James was Avinelle's grandfather. The article is found in Volume V, 1978, pages 7-9. There is a picture of the family of James Barney Andrew Fenter and it includes Dessie Lee (Neighbors) Fenter. There are some other references to the Fenter family on some of the other pages through out this volume.
In another article by Avinelle Fenter Cinotto, she writes about "My Neighbors Ancestors". This is in the 1980 edition of "The Heritage", Volume VII, pages 9-16, and includes pictures. On page 155-160, there is information on the "Will of Andrew Fenter - 1859". This article listed connections with surnames such as Patterson, Moore, Green, Wagner, Carmichael, and Gentry. The administrator of the will was Theodore Fenter. The will is supposed to be found on Pages 454-459, Book C of Probate Records, Hot Spring County Court House, Malvern Arkansas. This information was submitted by Frances House-Greiss, who also did an analysis of this same will.
