Hi Pamela, FLOYD WELLINGTON FENNER was b. 4 October 1886 in Beaumont, Wyoming Co., PA, the son of BENJAMIN H. FENNER, b. April 1858, PA and "ALICE A.", b. October 1864, PA. Although both of Benjamin's parents were also b. in PA, I was unable to locate Benjamin anywhere prior to 1880 where he is still found in Wyoming Co., his birth place, working out as a laborer and living with another family.
In 1900 the family was living in Scranton, Lackawanna Co., PA. Floyd's siblings, b. between 1882 and 1899 are: WILLIAM O. (1882); BENJAMIN (1889); EDNANA(1893);ROBERT W. (1895); RUTH V. (1897) and MABLE B. (1899). Their mother, Alice A, has had 9 children with 7 living. In 1910, Scranton, Lackawanna Co., PA, Floyd, a laborer in a coal mine, has been married 1 yr. to NAOMI (Stenner), 22, PA/WALES/WALES, who has had 1 child with 1 living. Their daughter "HAZEL FENNER" is 6 mos. old. Floyd registered for the draft in 1918, and at that time was unemployed and married to "Mrs. Esther Fenner." In 1920 Floyd, age 32 and a laborer in a coal mine, is married to "ESTHER," age 26, PA/PA/PA. With them is ALTA FENNER, 3 yrs.(abt. 1916). In 1930 Floyd, 43, states that he was first married at age 20 and Esther, age 36 was first m. at 19. With them are daughters "ALTA FENNER," 13 AND LOIS FENNER, 3 yrs., 3 mos. Floyd registered for the draft in 1942. The draft registration provided his middle name and birth place. The other data from the censuses, 1880-1930.
