Okay, I met online Canice Fennelly who I think is a son of Dermot Fenenelly, he said his parents owned the family pub. I was always told we were related to that family.

My line goes like this:
James Fennelly of Bennetsbridge b. E 1868 (my mother said he was 52 in 1920) d. 8/1/1935 married Honora Brophy (of Graigue) b. E 1870's in Roxbury, MA June 16 1890
witnesses to the marriage were Patrick J. Brennan of Somerville and Bridget Brophy of Milton
I know Mollie Brophy Mooneen of Graig-na-managh was Honora's sister, Bridget may be also.

they had
Anastacia(Fennelly b. 12/13/1903) Ferris (siblings Canice Joseph, James, Mary Elizabeth, Nora, William, Francis, Thomas, Leo, John)

she had
Dorothy (Ferris)Adams (sibling Robert)

she had
Joyce (Adams) Blair had ME
Lynda (Blair) Vernalia

My difficulty is I do not know when they came to the US, I believe it was right before they were married, in 1888 or 1889 but I could be wrong. I do not know siblings for James or his parents, but these records come from the family bible in my mother's Uncle Leo's possession (Leo Fennelly may also be found on this genforum.) Leo's cousin, sister Fabian, went out to Ireland to see the family years ago and met this Canice I met online as a boy. I have written to her for information but she never replied. I know there is a connection somehow.

Can you tell me some cousin names and your lineage so I can see if I can fidn a connection? Do you live in Ireland? If not, where are you currently?

Nice to meet you most likely cousin!
