I am doing family research on the delony family that lived in the muscle shoals, alabama, area in the mid-1800s. one of them, dr. james henry delony, was accused of gunning down a preacher, rev. moses stroude morris in the latter part of the year 1849. both lived near and were married to the fennels and their kin. if anyone knows what happened, why, and what the final outcome of the case was, would you please email me. my name is keith allred, and my grandmother was a descendant of this delony family. my email address is tx_allreds@yahoo.com.

PS: dr. delony must have been found not guilty of murder because he moved to arkansas and raised a family there.

please email me if you know any details.
thank you for your help,
keith allred
