LOOKING FOR RELATIVES OF WILLIAM FENNELL us census 1870
Posted by: EDWARD J FENNELL (ID *****4052) Date: July 25, 2008 at 16:53:19

My Great-Great Grandfather William Fennell, is listed on the us 1870 census,in Braintree, Mass. My great-great Gramdmother's name was Margaret. His age is listed as 53 & he worked in a boot factory & migrated from Ireland. He had my Great-Grandfather, Edward J., who was born in 1856. Edward J. married Mary and had sons, William, Edward (my grandfather)& James, two daughters, Mary & Margaret, all born between 1875 - 1890. They show up on the 1900 us census for Brockton, Mass. Edward married Sarah, a canadian, nee McGowan, lived in Brockton and had my father, Edward M. in 1907. I was born in 1928 in Brockton. Growing up in Brockton and Brooklyn, NY, I can only remember my Grand-Uncle James as my grandfather died when I was just a baby. I did not really know the rest of the Fennell family and when I found the 1900 us census with all of my grand-uncles and aunts, I realized that I have more family somewhere.
Is anyone out there that matches this family tree? Let me know.
