Was this a bigamous marriage?
Emma called herself a spinster when she remarried Isaac Rylands in 1868 in the same church as she and Thomas were married,St Alkmunds Derby.
Isaac the son of Thomas and Emma refused to be called Isaac Fennell and was known as Isaac Palfree throughout his life.The same Thomas had a wife called Caroline and children who were staying with Caroline's parents in 1861.
