My great-great grandmother, Margaret (Fennell) Bell was born in 1824 NC and died 1898 Simpson Co.,KY (cemetery record).She had two children, Henry and Clarissa Ordilla, both born in TN. Clarissa's death certificate lists her parents as Margaret Fennell and (Wm.?) Bell. The Wm could be Mr. Bell. The handwriting is difficult to read. In searching TN census records, I saw the 1850 and 1860 listings for John Fennell in Warren Co., TN with Margaret and children enumerated in his household.I believe they are my ancestors and that (Wm.?) had died just prior to the 1850 census and she was enumerated as Fennell. Margaret and children are next found in the 1870 Logan Co., KY census. This census also enumerates George Fennell, age 60, born NC. In the household with him are Oliver Miles, age 61, and Eliza, age 60. Both were born in NC.I will appreciate any help with Margaret's family.
