John, Thank you for the geneology details regarding your family and for the anecdotes as well. The stories certainly make the family tree come to life. I have emailed my uncle in Florida and will forward whatever information he can provide. In the meantime, I should mention that Maurice Fennell, the horse dealer and Annie's father, had a son and a grandson both named John. I believe that both Johns were horse experts and possibly horse dealers. Maurice's grandson John (b. 1935) was Horse Director in Rathkeale, or at least he was when interviewed by Paul Fennell, author of The Fennells of Manister, Co. Limerick. Do you have access to the WWI Draft Registration Records? I looked up both Pat and Walter, and can pass the information from those records on to you if you do not have it. Pat's registration was helpful to me because it established that Pat and Annie were married as of September 12, 1918, the day he registered. Pat listed Anna Keating as his nearest relative. I look forward to receiving any information or photos you wish to share, and will be glad to return the favor. Notify Administrator about this message?
