John's granddaughter Carrie, by his son Wm F Fenn, was shown on census records as Carro, Carlyn, Carolyn. Family said she married a Ben Johnson and they died in Oklahoma.

She is found in 1920 living with her father and step mother in Montgomery Alabama and again in 1930 in Creek County, Oklahoma with her husband Ben Johnson. That shows his birth place as Texas so when researching TX census he is found in 1900 with his parents who were born in Alabama so they must have returned at some point for him to meet her.

in the 1900 they are living in Choctaw Nation and some of his siblings were born in Indian Territory.
