I would like to find out anything I can about the Francis, (Frank), Lewis Fenn, Sr. Family of Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Frank Fenn, Sr was my Grandfather. He died in 1965. My Grandmother's name was Beatrice Teresa Connors Fenn and she died in about 1930. They had three sons. An infant boy who was born and died in 1930, a son named Thomas who was born in 1913 and died in 1963, and a son named Francis, (Frank), Lewis Fenn, Jr. who was born in 1912 and died in 1992. Frank Fenn, Jr. was my Father. He was a career Navy man and was stationed in Guam when the Japanese attacked in December 1941. He was a Prisoner of War until September 1945. He eventually returned to Massachusetts and built a home on Lake Garfield in Monterey sometime around 1948-50. He maintained that home while he continued his Navy career and later after he moved to California. He visited the home on Lake Garfield often and attended his 50th high school reunion in 1980. There was a newspaper article about the reunion and my Dad was the attendee who had traveled the farthest to attend. Frank Jr. married a woman from New York, Lillian, and had two children, myself-Kathleen Ann, and a son named Francis, (Frank) Lewis Fenn, III. Both of us were born in New York. My Uncle, Thomas Fenn married a woman named Millie and had one daughter, Barbara Ann. Barbara was born in Great Barrington in 1939. I only met her once when I was a child and she was already an adult. I don't know what her married name is but believe she was married in Great Barrington and later moved to Connecticut. My Grandfather, Frank Fenn, Sr. had three siblings; one brother and two sisters, Mary Fenn who died in 1955, and Florence Fenn who died in 1972. I do not know his brother's name but his wife's name was Lottie, (Charlotte?). All four Fenn siblings were born, raised, and died in Great Barringtion, MA. My Grandfather was the only one who had any children. I believe their parents were also born in Massachusetts, as were the Connors and their parents. At some point though, both families had immigrated from Ireland. I would like to find out anything I can about my family. Since I know so little about my Grandparents and their families I could have other relatives that I've never even heard of. I'd love to connect with anyone related to either the Fenn Family or the Connors Family. Or even if we aren't related and you could help steer me in the right direction I would be so grateful. In particular, I would like to find out more about my first cousin, Barbara Ann Fenn. I appreciate any information about my family that anyone might be able to provide. Thank you.
