Do you know if her mother was Maud Fenn? My mother, born in SF c1894, had cousins who were Fenns and Sullivans. I am having trouble finding how they all fit together. My mother was Margaret Ethel Cummings; her mother was Minnie Elizabeth Carroll; her mother was Mary Sullivan. Mary Sullivan was married in SF but name of first husband has been lost. He was buried in SF. She then married John P. Carroll and lived in Gold Hill/Virginia City, Nevada. First child was born in 1868; her husband was shot there in 1876. She returned to SF with Minnie and son John Henry to be close to her family who are ??? Help!
