Your Seaborn McDonald Hunt was my Great Uncle Tump. He was a Pharmacist in Cordele.
Uncle Tump was Seaborn McDonald Hunt, Jr. His father was Seaborn McDonald Hunt, my Great Grandpa. Uncle Tump's brothers and sisters were Nannie E.,
George McAllister Dallas, Roberta Jane, John L., James Monroe, Henry Elie, Sarah K. and Euna F. Unfortunately, Roberta, John and Henry died as as children or
infants. Uncle Tump's brother, James Monroe Hunt, was my Grandpa. My Dad was Seaborn McDonald Hunt. I also have a brother and a nephew with that name.
Uncle Tump's father was the first Seaborn McDonald Hunt (1841-1885). This fellow seems to have had a difficult life. He enlisted in the CSA from Houston County
as a private. I have his military tactics book, which he signed as a 2nd Lt. At the end of the war, I understand he and his brother William G. Hunt walked back to
Georgia from Virginia. In the 16 years from 1868 to 1884 SMH had 9 kids. Three of the first seven died before the age of two. Then SMH died at age 44. SMH
married Sally Kellam Fenn in Worth County. She was a descendent of Zacharias Fenn, a Revolutionary War Soldier. Uncle Tump (2/10/1878 to 8/8/1949) and
Aunt Myrtle had no children. I do not have her dates, but she lived a pretty long time. I would guess that she lived into the 1980's as I saw a Mrs. S. M. Hunt listed
in the Cordele phone book numerous times. My parents lived outside Georgia and lost contact with her. I think my Aunt told me she lived her last years as an
invalid.

Our Hunt line "hits a wall" at William Lucius Hunt, the father of my Great Grandpa SMH. However, it appears if the name Seaborn McDonald came from William L
Hunt's wife's family. She was Marthina Bateman, and she had a brother named Seaborn and and two other brothers, who married McDonald girls. Hopefully, this
has been some assistance to you. If you ever stumble across any information relating to William Lucius Hunt (1810 - 1871), please forward it to me.

Lee Hunt
