I descend from Jesse & Wilmouth Fann. Jesse was born in VA, lived in Warren and Chatham counties in NC. They moved to Franklin Co (became Clarke Co) Ga c1795. Jesse apparently died c1814-1820 in Clarke Co., Ga. They had sons William Fann, George Fenn (changed the spelling to Fenn - my ancestor), Willoughby Fann/Fenn, Amelia Fann m. William Hightower, Lucinda Fann m. John Davis, Daughter m. John Dorman, Jesse Fann, Jr. m. Nancy Baggett.
I am 90% sure that Jesse is a grandson of John & Mary (Stone) Fann of Ricmond Co., Va. Some of John & Mary's children are listed in the North Farnham Parish Register in Richmond Co., Va. It is documented that they had other children, but the names were lost in copying the old register.
