I don't know where you live, but if you can get to Burlington, NJ there is a library behind the James Fenimore Cooper House on High St. that has geneaologies of many old families from Burlington County. On the back shelf behind the filing cabinets there are two copies of a cream colored book on Fenimores that list all the lines descending from Richard Fenimore. I believe that the book covers the years 1680-1917. My grandmother was born in 1912 and she was the last person recorded for her branch. My mother and I traced her line all the way back to Richard Fenimore, the first Fenimore to come to NJ from England about 1680. We did it through this one book.
