I am descended from Miles Cary Felts and Sarah "Sallie" Foster through their daughter, Elizabeth Jane Felts, who married John Hill, son of Green Hill, Jr. and Mary Seawell. Are the Hills married to the Felts related?
I am descended from Elizabeth's son, John Christopher Foster Hill. There have been at least four of his descendants named after him.
I am just beginning to explore this line, and I do not know much about them. I have Miles Cary Felts as a Revolutionary Soldier, the son of William Felts, 1731-bef. 1794, and Sarah Jones.
Is Miles Cary Felts a descendant of Col. Miles Cary? Does anyone have the Felts, Jones and Foster genealogies back farther than this?
I'd appreciate any information on these folks.
