I am still searching for information re: the Felter family from Haverstraw, Rockland Co., NY.
My ggg grandfather, James Walker Cruver, born in Mt. Ivy, NY in 1821,was married to a Margaret Felter, born in Haverstraw in 1815. They moved to Walker Valley, NY where they raised their family of six children: Robert Smith Cruver (2/24/1842-2/2/1927) my gg grandfather, Christina Elizabeth Cruver (b. 9/7/1846), John Felter Cruver (b.6/18/1852), Mary Jane Cruver (b.8/16/1855), George Beeks Cruver (b.6/18/1858) and Abram (Abraham) b.?. Both George Walker Cruver and wife Margaret Felter Cruver are buried in Walker Valley Cemetery, NY.
Any information out there will be greatly appreciated.
