Boy did I mess up. My ancestor is John....he had a son named George...but may there may be some tie there somewhere. Still have found no info on John other than he was married to Abigail Higby about 1843. I have a lot of their descendants, but nothing on his ancestors. They had at least 10 children. He was killed on the job in 1872 at Gildersleeve's tannery, and was the 4th boy in his family to be killed by machinery. Would love any information anyone has.
