PLEASE help GEORGE FELT of CASCO BAY to cross the water
In the last few sentences of the preface of "The Felt Genealogy: John Morris writes,
"The origin of the Felt family is unknown, neither have we any certain knowledge of the former home of George Felt, the immigrant, though there is reason for believing that he came from Wales."
In just a hundred years time from when John Morris wrote those words, there would be a solution to the mystery available from something as simple as a swab of saliva...
If you are a male with the FELT surname, your DNA could help us to solve the mystery of George Felt's parentage.
Our family has had successful results with DNA surname testing through Family Tree DNA, and it has also helped
other families to "cross the water" to Europe.
Please contact me if you'd be able to help in establishing
a FELT DNA surname study.Group discount pricing on the tests is available through the surname study. There is an informative video on Family Tree DNA's website:
